As a user importing financial transactions (via CSV/CAMT or bank sync), I want WhisperMoney to automatically extract the name of the debtor or creditor from the transaction payload and assign it to a dedicated field, So that I can easily filter, categorize, and track who money was sent to or received from without manual entry.

Currently, connected bank accounts and balances are displayed under the total net worth in the order they were linked. Users cannot customize this view to prioritize their primary or most frequently used accounts. Suggested Solution: Introduce a drag-and-drop mechanism or a simple reordering setting that allows users to manually arrange the display order of their bank accounts on the dashboard.

Instead of having to manually create each automatic rule, could we use AI to recommend rules based on our transactions and make the start a lot easier.

Example: Transport - Taxi - Public transport This improves structure without making categorization overly complex.

Problem: Users can see their overall monthly cash flow, but they cannot track how a specific category (e.g., fuel, groceries) fluctuates over time. There is currently no way to view a dedicated historical chart or data breakdown for a single category to monitor monthly variations. Suggested Solution: Add a detailed view for each spending category that includes a monthly trend chart. This will allow users to select a specific category and visually track their spending habits month over month.

I'm getting a daily email that tells me new transactions have been imported. But I can't find the option to turn it off.

My bank export all transactions by default with this date format and, because it's not available on the importer. I need to manually modify the CSV with something like =DATE(LEFT(C6,4),MID(C6,5,2),RIGHT(C6,2)) .

What's the idea? Right now in Settings > Categories , we can only sort our categories alphabetically by name. It would be awesome if we could also sort them by color or type . Why it matters: A lot of us use colors to group similar categories together (like blue for all transport stuff, or green for housing). Because we can only sort by name, categories with the same color end up scattered all over the place. Dragging them around manually to see them together is a bit of a pain! How it helps: Being able to click and sort by color or type would make organizing everything way faster and look much cleaner.
